We’re Lovehoney, the global leader in sexual happiness. We create and sell adult toys, lingerie, BDSM and sexual wellness products direct from our warehouses in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

While we may be the global leader today, our story sure didn’t start at the top. Founded in the city of Bath, United Kingdom back in 2002, colleagues and friends Neal Slateford and Richard Longhurst decided it was time for a shake-up in the adult toy industry. Previously, buying an adult toy used to involve being confronted by seedy, male-centric websites with in-your-face adult images and packaging. However, Neal Slateford and Richard Longhurst decided it was time things changed, and a new era of adult toy shopping began.

Our discreet delivery with boring, brown boxes and dedication to customer service saw us skyrocket from our humble beginnings and expand globally across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We are now proud to call ourselves the sexual happiness people, making a fun and fulfilling sex life available to everyone.

2013

Lovehoney reached Australian shores, starting out with a team of two in a small office in West End, Brisbane.

2014

To meet even more of our customer’s bedroom needs, we launched our own range of lingerie and intimate apparel with an expansive size range from 0-22.

2015

In just over 12 months, we quickly outgrew our first office and moved into a 2300sqm warehouse in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, where it remains today.

2016

Lovehoney Global proudly received The Queen's Award for Enterprise for our contribution to international trade. We achieved this honour again in 2021.

2017

We extended our delivery service to New Zealand to share some love across the ditch. All orders are packed at our Brisbane warehouse and shipped directly in discreet packaging.

2021

Lovehoney Global joined forces with WOW Tech, the makers of Womanizer and We-Vibe, plus Swiss company Amorana, to become Lovehoney Group, the biggest sexual wellness retailer in the world.

2022

We stepped into mainstream retail in 2022, selling our products in Adore Beauty and Flora & Fauna and hosted our first pop-up shop in David Jones in support of Sydney World Pride 2023.

2023

This year, we proudly launched Womanizer Wave, the world's first self-pleasure shower head. This innovative collaboration between hansgrohe and Womanizer brings unprecedented stimulation options to our customers.
